Rush Wars enters soft-launch for Android and iOS
Supercell is at it again with their latest game Rush Wars. In this multiplayer base-building game, you fight to kick butt and get mega rich. Supercell, a subsidiary of gaming giant Tencent, adds one more game to their collection of super-hits. Rush Wars joins Clash of Clans, Clash Royale and Brawl Stars in the list of games Supercell is responsible for. Of course, the developers are hoping to capture the same success their previous titles generated, and Rush Wars is heir apparent to this mobile game royalty.
Build your forces and raid gold mines
Rush Wars offer strategic action for its players. It borrows heavily from Supercell’s titles and evolves from it. It has the base building mechanics of Clash of Clans, wherein you’ll design an impenetrable fortress to protect your own gold mines. Just like Clash Royale, you unlock new characters and make them stronger through cards you obtain from loot boxes. You can muster your forces and build your own army to take away as much gold as you can. Just like Brawl Stars, you could unlock unique characters that can aid you in your quests. All of these are free-to-play, but microtransactions exist to speed up your progress.
Rush Wars’ gameplay is like a mashup between Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. Players invade each other’s territory in hopes of destroying their defenses to steal their gold. Meanwhile, units are placed ala-Clash Royale, and the troops you deploy walk across the screen until they find an enemy or target, much like Clash Royale. Old fans of Supercell will definitely find themselves at home with Rush Wars.
Team Up or Go Solo
Rush Wars offer you an option to build a team with your friends or go solo. This social aspect helps protect newer players by teaming them up with their stronger teammates. However, it’s also completely viable to go on your own. Doing so ensures that all gold and glory is solely for you to enjoy.
Rush Wars’ multiplayer aspect is clan-based, and comes in 5v5, 10v10 and 20v20 modes. In this mode, called Team Domination, both teams spend a day preparing for war. On the next day, each player would be assigned gold mines from the opposing group to attack. Each player will then be drafting units from a random pool which they’ll have to use to capture the gold mines assigned to them. Units carry over from one battle to another of the gauntlet.
The more battles you win in Team Domination, the better the loot you get.
Download Rush Wars in your Android and iOS devices
Rush Wars is available now in both Android and iOS devices, but only for players in Canada, New Zealand and Australia. Other players from the rest of the world will have to wait until the Canadians, New Zealanders and Australians finish playtesting the game and the developers have ironed out all its wrinkles.
