New Mobile Games for October 2019 | 5 Games for Android & iOS

October marks the start of the year’s last quarter, and we usually get lots of nice things around this month. There are a lot of new releases we’re anticipating for this month, including the likes of WWE 2k20, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, The Outer Worlds and Luigi’s Mansion 3. Here are five new mobile games for October 2019.

Call of Duty: Mobile

With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot in the horizon, Activision will be releasing a mobile version of the hit FPS game. In this first-person shooter, you get to play as iconic CoD characters such as “Soap” Mactavish and “Ghost” Riley. The game is multiplayer-centric, so you get to play in Team Deathmatch, Domination and Search & Destroy game modes.

The battle royale fever has also infected Call of Duty, making its appearance in this title. Up to 100 players will simultaneously go after each other in this mode, battling over land, sea, and air. You’ll also get to ride cool vehicles like a tactical raft, a helicopter, and ATVs.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be released on the 1st day of October on both Android and iOS.

ROME: Total War – Alexander

Rome Total War Alexander

ROME: Total War fulfills any gamer’s desire to lead their own army. Its standalone expansion, ROME: Total War – Alexander adds to this by introducing new units, a new campaign, and new maps.

The game is a polished mobile port of a PC title. ROME: Total War overhauls the game’s UI to complement touchscreen controls and tones down the processing power needed to compute for the game’s complex algorithms. Command your armies as the legendary Macedonian general and build an empire that will be the envy of monarchs for years to come.

ROME: Total War – Alexander will be released on both Android and iOS on October 4.

The Addams Family Mystery Mansion

The Addams Family Mystery Mansion is a tie-up to the Addams Family reboot film coming out this October. Dubbed as a “simulation, action-adventure” game, Mystery Mansion promises to let gamers play an original Addams Family experience. It allows you to collect classic Addams Family characters like Morticia, Gomez and Wednesday Addams.

The Addams Family Mystery Mansion is coming out two days ahead of the theatrical release on October 9 for both Android and iOS.

ONE Fantasy

MMA fans will get a chance to put stakes on their favorite MMA fighters. The ONE Championship promotion will be releasing a fantasy game app this October 12. In the game, players will be given 100 points to build their dream MMA team from the ONE Championship roster. The scoring system is a straightforward “gain points when your fighter wins”. You rack up more points if your fighter wins via stoppage or submission. More points will allow you to acquire more fighters for your roster.

ONE Fantasy will be available through the ONE Super App, which is already out on both Android and iOS.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game

Hearthstone has been dominant in the digital card game industry for the better part of the past decade. Gwent, the minigame-turned-standalone-title from the award-winning Witcher 3, has been trying to compete against Hearthstone. Originally released on PC, Gwent gives a new twist in strategic deck-building and tactical resource management. In the game, you’ll get to collect cards depicting characters from the expanded Witcher universe, even those not appearing in Witcher 3. Its release on mobile platforms will boost Gwent’s reach and may give it a better chance at taking over Hearthstone in the card gaming market.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game will first come out on iOS on October 29, while an Android release is currently in development.
