Demon Slayer Mobile Battle Royale Game in the Works
Fans of the anime series Kimetsu no Yaiba could look forward to playing a Demon Slayer Mobile game pretty soon.
A week ago, an issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump announced that the hit anime series will soon have its own video game. According to the announcement, it will have a PS4 game called ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan‘, and also a mobile game called ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Keppuu Kengeki Royale’. Today, we also got new trailers for the two games, giving us more previews of what’s in store for us.
The developers of ‘Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot‘ and ‘Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm‘ will be the same people making this game. You can see the initial trailer for this game below.
Sadly, we don’t have anything else going on for the PS4 game. We’ll just have to wait for the developers to make progress first before we could hear anything else about this game. What we’ve seen so far looks wonderful, though. If the finished product would have the same quality of graphics and animation, then at least it will be on par with the anime’s quality art.
Demon Slayer Mobile Battle Royale Game
The PS4 game had a Demon Slayer Mobile game announced alongside it. We actually have more information about this game than the PS4 game, thanks to the much lengthier trailer. Although much of it was spent explaining the game’s narrative, we did catch a glimpse of gameplay footage in it.
In the game, you could play as one of either the Demon Slayers or the Demons themselves. The graphics look okay, staying true to the anime art style of the series, but nothing to write home about. Being a battle royale game, expect game maps to be filled by players from the two opposing factions battling it out. Based on the trailer, it looks like all of the enemies from the anime series’ first season will be playable at launch.
The Demon Slayer Mobile game will launch sometime this year. Meanwhile, don’t expect the PS4 game to come out until next year.
